Sweltering afternoons
A walk in the sun, under
Blue skies and pretty moods
Or a reprieve in the shade
Of a sidewalk cafe, watching
Life and its participants go by
And ponder the next words like a
Poet, is how one should spend
Sweltering afternoons.

Curl 窝

Awakening this morning
A rainstorm at my window;

The wind moves, leads
Formlessly yet formidably
Stirring life
And a stirring life
Is how it should be.

Early 早

Early is relative to the
Continuity that is time
Made bearable, pulsed
By day and night

That one may find
Foothold in its endless
Flow, to seize the early day
And rest the late night.

早与绵延的
时间是对比
其分隔为昼夜
给予舒缓

我们可在它
无尽的流动中
平稳，把握早日
歇息于夜深。

Sound 音

I want to hear the
First birdsong at daybreak
The silence of awakening morns
Whispers of leaves in the wind

I want to hear the
Crashing of sea waves against
One another, the cries of gulls, they
Soar and dip across the horizon

I want to hear the
Sound of your heart beating
Strong and steady, an assurance
That you are here and will be.

Water 水

Water is a force;
Formless, almost invisible
Pliable, yet formidable
Soft as a trickle, or
Hard as a torrent

It sustains as well as
It destroys, in a blink, that
To know water is to know
Balance in life.

Satisfy your needs and
Be content

Be all the wiser
Satisfy your spirit and
Be ever at peace.

饱足你的需求就
得知足
饱足你的欲望就

得智慧
饱足你的心灵就
得安乐。

Pain 痛

Pain is transient –
It disappears once the
Remedy is found, when the
Lessons are learnt.

痛是短暂的 –
教诲一尽
药方一了、它
必定消失。

Skew 斜

A skewed road seeks no usual sights
Off the main paths, rugged to hide
Traverse yet, expectant curiosity
For chance surprises it may lead.

斜路总不寻常景
偏离正道崎岖隐
带着期待好奇心
或得预料外惊喜。
