Eternality

All my life, it has been you.
No I don’t mean just
These transient passings
From one presence to another;
But the eternality of it
For a higher purpose
However hysterical
That we must now find
And discover.

Daily Prompt: Purpose

As the sun rises yet sets, and
Happiness arises from pain
Darkness leads to light
Death ends when life begins
Our lives hold greater meaning
Than the daily mundane
Look in your heart’s depths
To find the answers again.

Purpose

So sorry for deviating from the recent prompts but my mind has a mind of its own these few days it seems.

Sometimes it takes
One big circle of
Contemplation to realise
That the one purpose in
Each of our lives is simply to do
What we are meant to do
In each of our lives.
