Daily Prompt: Edible

Sitting unassuming and
Innocent, lusciously warmed and
Oozing intensity, complemented by
Iced creamy richness –
Perfectly delectable.

Melted

Coyly she sat and
Waited, an understated
Beauty, darkly seductive;
Close by he stood,
Freshly unadulterated
Full-bodied and robust;
Moisture trailed down –
She melted slowly, warmed
By his raw presence.

Tease

Unusual match of
Flavours apart, rolled and
Curled till they are one; makes
For a delish romp to tease
My love for you if
You so please.

Dessert

I can almost see
You in front of me
Amused, your gaze and
A smile on your lips
As I attack my cake
Like a child, in glee
Saying you don’t care
For desserts, but you’ll
Always wait for me.

Waffles & Ice Cream

Feeling a tad cheeky today. 😉

Got me some mogambo
Passion brewing in a cup
Crisp waffles lay melting, with
Creamy milk-ice on top
I like my afternoons relaxed
All quiet and chill, but
It’d be awesome right now to
Be your iced cream I feel.

Anniversary Spectrum

The man was first amused
By my choice of anniversary bake
But then pondered and mused:
What a good omen it made!

For the ten years we’ve stuck together
Through rainy days and sun
A pretty seven-colour spectrum
And many more to come 🙂

(Nope I didn’t bake this ^^)
