Daily Prompt: Bloggers, Unplugged – Part II

That having been said, how could I not compose a prose to unplug for the day?

Check out of the office
Pull away with my car
Unwind those glass windows
With some Café Del Mar

Loose my choking tie
Light up a cigarette
Shut off flickering noises
Bail out from jarring lights

When I arrive in quiet
I’ll leave the room in dark
Then drown out all my senses
Close out and unplug.
