Daily Prompt: Eye of the Beholder

Great songs never fail to send shivers down my spine, trigger much heightened emotions and sometimes provide me with writing inspirations.

Today’s prompt allowed me to weave six of my favourite songs in – can you find them? 😉

A beautiful tune is
Perfect blue skies
Raise my hands to heaven
Let me stay awhile

Endless green meadows
Amidst fields of gold
Trivial miracles of nature
Created in Christ alone

Soon the fallen sunset
In hues of pink and red
But we’ve got tonight, babe
Let’s play our song instead.
